Shueisha’s Focus on One-Shots and 10th Anniversary Portal
In October 2024, Shueisha plans to launch a dedicated portal site called One-Shot Discovery as part of its 10th anniversary initiatives. The site will archive over 2,000 one-shot manga released on Shonen Jump+ over the past decade. It will also feature recommendations and interviews from well-known manga enthusiasts, as well as year-by-year rankings and a comprehensive list of all one-shots.
Shueisha stated that Shonen Jump+ has consistently emphasized publishing one-shots, both as a platform for newcomers aiming for serialization and as a creative outlet for established artists. In recent years, the app has published over 200 one-shots annually.
