On August 18, YOSHIKI of X JAPAN updated his X account, announcing that he had deleted his previous posts concerning the Dandadan anime insert song “Hunting Soul.” In his statement, he wrote, “I will leave this matter to the people involved.”

The track was featured in episode 18, performed by the fictional band “HAYASii.” The song was written, composed, and arranged by Seiichi Nagai, produced by Kensuke Ushio, and featured Kisho Taniyama (vocals), Marty Friedman (guitar), Chargeeeeee… (drums), and Wakazaemon (bass).
Since the lyric video’s release on August 8, YOSHIKI had commented on social media, writing, “What is this, doesn’t it sound like X JAPAN?” and noted, “I’ve even been contacted by lawyers.”
He also referenced the name “HAYASii,” explaining that it overlapped with his family name and memories, sharing his complex emotions through a series of posts. However, all related posts have now been deleted.
With his latest update, YOSHIKI expressed his decision to leave the matter in the hands of the relevant parties, signaling his intention to step back from further public discussion.
