Tougen Anki TV Anime Premieres with Episode 7 Story & Preview Images: Kuina Steps Up to Protect Rokuro, Faces Agri Head-On

Episode 7 Story

Kyoya Oiranzaka, commander of the support unit, and Jin Kougasaki encounter Tsubakiri Momomiya and Yomogi Momokusa, who have infiltrated the Kyoto Branch. Oiranzaka orders Kougasaki to retreat via a dispatched message. Yomogi then uses his Momotaro Blood to conjure a massive black box, sealing off the entire Kyoto Branch.

Meanwhile, Kougasaki, having regrouped with Shiki Ichinose and the others, also finds that all escape routes are blocked. Suddenly, Agri—a monster unleashed by Tsubakiri—appears and begins attacking the Oni. The support unit is thrown into chaos.

Kuina Sazanami and Rokuro Kiriyama flee into a small room, but one of the Agri pursues them. With Rokuro having lost the will to fight, he tells Kuina that she’s his only hope. Moved by his trust, Kuina’s innate desire to care for others kicks in. She activates her Blood Eclipse Release and bravely confronts Agri head-on.

Series Overview

The bloodlines of Oni and Momotaro have been passed down through a select group of humans. Ages ago, the Oni, fully aware of their own violent tendencies, chose to live in seclusion. But the Momotaro attacked them, initiating an age-long conflict. Both sides established organizations—the Oni Corporation and the Momotaro Agency—and their war has raged for millennia.

One day, Shiki Ichinose learns the shocking truth about his bloodline following a surprise Momotaro attack. From that moment, he is bound by destiny, encountering the Oni dwelling within him. Thus begins a new generation of dark hero demon saga.
