Bride of the Barrier Master TV Anime Announced with TROYCA as Studio and Teaser Visual Revealed

The fantasy romance novel Bride of the Barrier Master (Kekkaishi no Ichirinka) by Kureha has been confirmed for a TV anime adaptation. Produced by TROYCA, the studio behind ALDNOAH.ZERO and IDOLiSH7, the project unveiled a teaser visual, staff details, and congratulatory illustrations from the creators.

Story of Bride of the Barrier Master

The series follows Hana Ichise, a girl born into a branch family of barrier masters who has long been compared unfavorably to her gifted twin sister. After awakening to a hidden power, Hana conceals her strength to live quietly, but her life changes when Saku Ichinomiya, the young head of the main family, discovers her abilities and forces her into a marriage contract.

Staff and Creative Team

The anime is based on the novel by Kureha (Kadokawa Bunko), with original character designs by Bodax and manga adaptation by Odayaka (B’s-LOG COMICS). The director is Toru Kitahata, character designs are by Minami Murayama, and the series composition and script are handled by Yuko Kakihara. Animation production is by TROYCA.
