■Culling Game
Higuruma was initially supportive of the Culling Game and rejected Yuji’s request for cooperation, leading to a battle between them.

Despite being entirely self taught, Higuruma displayed overwhelming skill and control over his cursed technique, gaining the upper hand. However, once Yuji realized the nature of Higuruma’s ability, he declared a retrial, initiating a second hearing.

The crime presented by Judgeman was the mass killing committed by Ryomen Sukuna during the Shibuya Incident. In response to the accusation, Yuji admitted, stating that he was the one who committed the killings. As a result, the Death Penalty was imposed.

Higuruma’s gavel transformed into the Executioner’s Sword, and the battle resumed with Yuji deprived of his cursed energy.

However, faced with Yuji’s refusal to look away from his own weakness and guilt, Higuruma voluntarily deactivated his cursed technique and accepted defeat.

Having already learned the truth behind the Shibuya Incident massacre through the evidence presented by Judgeman, Higuruma declared that Yuji had not willingly relinquished control at that time and that a state of insanity would be recognized under the law. Therefore, he concluded that Yuji bore no criminal responsibility.

Afterward, in accordance with Yuji’s request, Higuruma used his 100 points to add a new rule to the Culling Game, permitting the transfer of points between players.

■Shinjuku Showdown
Higuruma did not appear again after his battle with Yuji until the confrontation with Ryomen Sukuna following the return of Satoru Gojo.

Immediately after Gojo and Hajime Kashimo were defeated by Sukuna, Higuruma rejoined Yuji and the others in battle. By placing Sukuna on trial within his domain, he activated Confiscation in an attempt to strip Sukuna of his cursed technique.

Although he appeared to have suffered severe injuries from Sukuna’s slashing attacks, Higuruma successfully employed Domain Amplification, neutralizing and reducing the effects of Sukuna’s technique.

Within less than two months of awakening as a sorcerer, he managed to execute Domain Amplification at a level capable of countering Sukuna’s slashes. Furthermore, after inserting Domain Amplification, he resumed the effects of his cursed technique, preventing the disappearance of the Executioner’s Sword.

Even Sukuna was astonished by this feat. Among modern sorcerers, Higuruma became only the third individual whose full name Sukuna committed to memory.
