Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3 Golden Land Arc has been officially announced, with a broadcast scheduled for October 2027 on Nippon TV.

Season 3 Golden Land Arc Begins from Chapter 81

The third season, titled the Golden Land Arc, adapts a highly popular storyline starting from Chapter 81 of Volume 9 of the original manga. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual was revealed featuring a key new character central to the story, the demon Macht.

The announcement was made during the final episode of Season 2, which aired on the 27th. In the final scene, Denken, a First Class Mage who left a strong impression during the First Class Mage Exam Arc in Season 1, is shown gazing from afar at his homeland, now transformed into gold. The shadow of Macht, a demon known as the strongest among the Seven Sages of Destruction, also appears.

Season 3 will depict Frieren and her companions confronting Macht in this new arc.
