Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi! Episode 6 Story & Preview Cuts Released: Meiko notices a long term resident staying at the shop

The story and preview images for Episode 6 of the TV anime One Tatami Room Full of Life (JP: 一畳間まんきつ暮らし!, Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi!) have been revealed. This episode will air on Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 AM (JST), and will later be available on various international streaming platforms.

Episode 6 Story

Summer vacation is coming to an end. Even though Meiko lost her underwear and ended up wandering around the shop without any, things have finally returned to normal now that Neo and Marika are back from their hometown visits.

Meiko and the others soon notice that there is a customer who seems to be living in the shop permanently, and they head over to perform an identity check. The suspicious woman becomes overly excited about historical manga and speaks in a samurai like tone while desperately trying to hide her true identity. Who exactly is this mysterious person?

Introduction

Meiko Morita, a high school student living in Akita, is suddenly chosen as a special transfer student for the prestigious all-girls school, "Amamiya Academy". Filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety for her dream student life in Tokyo, Meiko makes the move to the big city.

However, what was actually waiting for her was the manga cafe "Hedgehog"! Now, she must live and work as part of a "service activity" in this manga cafe that doubles as a student dormitory, alongside a group of highly eccentric residents.

And so, Meiko's slightly mysterious life in a one-tatami-mat manga cafe begins!
