Touken Ranbu Pazugiri Debuts at No. 1 on iPhone Game Chart

In the latest App Store iPhone Weekly Game Chart (September 21–27), the puzzle RPG Touken Ranbu Pazugiri made its debut at No. 1 on the Free Games Chart. Meanwhile, the popular title Yo-kai Watch 1 for Smartphone claimed the top spot on the Paid Games Chart.

Taking 1st place on the Free Games Chart, Touken Ranbu Pazugiri is a puzzle RPG featuring adorable, super-deformed versions of characters from Touken Ranbu ONLINE. Players clear puzzles by connecting same-colored "Togaki" creatures while building teams of Touken Danshi with unique abilities.

In 2nd place is chart regular Meowdoku!, a casual puzzle game combining elements of Sudoku and Minesweeper where players uncover hidden cats under rules allowing only one cat per color zone, row, and column.

The open-world collection RPG Animo made its debut in 3rd place, allowing players to freely explore a vast world, collect various "Animo," and engage in battles.

Other new entries included BanG Dream! Our Notes at No. 4 and [7R] BIG DREAM THE GOLDEN PUSHER at No. 10.

Torneko's Great Adventure Maintains Popularity

On the Paid Games Chart, Yo-kai Watch 1 for Smartphone climbed back to 1st place. In this mobile adaptation of the franchise's debut title, players use the Yo-kai Watch to locate and battle wild Yo-kai across town, befriending them to take on powerful boss Yo-kai.

Ranking 2nd and 3rd were Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon and Minecraft, respectively. Torneko's Great Adventure is a remastered version released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series. Featuring turn-based movement and randomly generated dungeon layouts, monsters, and items, the title has maintained strong popularity since topping the chart during the September 7–13 tracking period.
