Daemons of the Shadow Realm TV Anime Premieres in 2026 with Cast Reveal: Kensho Ono, Yume Miyamoto, Yuichi Nakamura, Misaki Kuno

The TV anime adaptation of Daemons of the Shadow Realm will air in 2026, and the main cast has been revealed. Kensho Ono will voice Yuru, Yume Miyamoto will voice Asa, Yuichi Nakamura will voice Dera, and Misaki Kuno will voice Gabu-chan.

The manga, serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan since December 2021, tells a mysterious story set in a quiet village filled with hidden secrets. Yuru, a boy living in a remote mountain village, spends his days hunting wild birds and living peacefully in nature. Meanwhile, his twin sister Asa fulfills a mysterious “duty” inside a prison deep within the village, almost as if she were being confined.

Created by Hiromu Arakawa, best known for Fullmetal Alchemist, the series marked her first new serialization in about 11 years and quickly became a major topic upon its debut.
