To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of the first volume of the manga "Doraemon," a special edition has been released today, July 25th, featuring color pages and an additional booklet.

The first volume of "Doraemon" was originally published exactly 50 years ago, on July 25, 1974. It was the inaugural book of the "Tentomushi Comics" label, which has continued to produce numerous masterpieces.

The special edition has three main features:

1.A futuristic, shiny cover (outer layer), which when removed reveals a cover design as close to the original first edition as possible.

2.The high-quality "b7 Bulky" paper, the same used for Tentomushi Comics' "Dorami-chan," which offers clearer enjoyment of the manga. Additionally, the main cover, the title page, and the text size within the manga replicate the specifications of the first edition in detail.

3.A 48-page supplementary booklet titled "Tentomushi Comics 'Doraemon' Secrets and History." This booklet is specially edited to trace the history of Tentomushi Comics' "Doraemon," including numerous rare photos and magazine articles from that era, providing a rich collection of materials to explore its journey.
