The story begins with Shoma (Hidekazu Chinen), who arrives from another world, collapsing from hunger. He is rescued by a boy named Hajime (Ayaki Hirano), who offers him some snacks. As Shoma excitedly eats, a series of creatures called "Gochizou" start emerging. Hajime hides Shoma in his secret base, but on the way home, they encounter a mysterious man (Jin Katagiri). The man transforms into a monster named Granute and attacks Hajime.
Though Shoma tries to protect Hajime, he is powerless against Granute. Just as things look dire, Gochizou suddenly appear before Shoma. Shoma sets and eats the Gochizou, transforming into Kamen Rider Gavv and standing up to Granute!
