Anime WIND BREAKER Gets a Game Adaptation!
Kodansha Ltd. (headquarters: Bunkyo, Tokyo, President: Shinoshin Noma) proudly announces the production of WIND BREAKER: Rebel Heroes, the first-ever game adaptation of the hit TV anime WIND BREAKER. Ahead of the game’s release, the first teaser video, teaser visuals, and the official X account have all been launched!
In WIND BREAKER: Rebel Heroes—nicknamed "WinHero"—beloved characters such as Haruka Sakura (voiced by Yuma Uchida) and Hajime Umemiya (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura) return in 3D as part of the infamous street-fighting group, Bofurin (防風鈴).
About the WIND BREAKER Anime and Manga
Originally serialized on Kodansha’s manga app Magazine Pocket, WIND BREAKER by Satoru Nii aired its first season in April 2024. With its thrilling action and charismatic characters, the anime gained immense popularity, leading to the announcement of Season 2, set to air in 2025. The series follows Haruka Sakura, a first-year student who moves to town to join Fuurin High School, a delinquent-ridden academy notorious for its street fights but revered for protecting the town as the “Bofurin” group.
With over 6.5 million copies sold worldwide, WIND BREAKER has established itself as the hottest new-generation delinquent manga.
