On October 23, Bandai Namco Holdings unveiled the life-size RX-78F00/E Gundam statue at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site on Yumeshima Island, while also announcing plans for an array of merchandise tied to the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION.

The pavilion, designed to resemble a futuristic space airport, stands beside the impressive 17-meter tall RX-78F00/E Gundam statue. At the unveiling event, the "Head Installation" ceremony took place, where the Gundam’s head was lifted by crane and attached to the body.

This marks the first time a life-size Gundam has been displayed in the Kansai region. The pavilion will feature new, immersive visual content and spaces ranging from Phase 0 to Phase 7, portraying a future where space travel and living in space have become commonplace, thanks to orbital elevators. Mobile Suits, long depicted as combat machines, will be presented in a new light, fulfilling a role that aligns with coexistence alongside humanity.

Regarding merchandise, Bandai Namco Group companies plan to release a range of products related to the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION. This lineup will include plastic models and figures, with more details about the product categories, sales methods, and availability to be revealed at a later date.
