The new poster visual for Witchy Pretty Cure!! MIRAI DAYS, the upcoming sequel to the popular anime series Witchy Pretty Cure! (Mahoutsukai Precure!), has been revealed. Alongside this, details for the December 7 broadcast celebration event have also been announced.

Event and Special Screening

The event, titled “Witchy Pretty Cure!! MIRAI DAYS Broadcast Commemoration Miracle Screening,” will be held at Shinjuku Wald 9 and will feature a screening of Episode 50, the final episode of Witchy Pretty Cure!, as well as an exclusive preview of the new series. The talk session will welcome Rie Takahashi (Cure Miracle / Mirai Asahina), Yui Horie (Cure Magical / Riko Izayoi), Saori Hayami (Cure Felice / Kotoha Hanami), and Rie Kitagawa, who will sing the new opening theme. Tickets are available via lottery presale starting October 28, priced at 3,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children up to high school. Attendees will receive a set of special postcards featuring both the image and poster visuals.

The wish for a sequel crossed my mind many times. But I tried not to think about it too much, not to get my hopes up in case it didn't happen. Even though I had been preparing myself for years, I was surprised at how the tears flowed when I heard the news. I wanted to see everyone again!!!

-- Your feelings about reprising the role of Mirai Asahina/Cure Miracle.
Thankfully, I've had several opportunities to record as Cure Miracle for MahoPre, so I think I'll be fine with the voice! The challenge is that Mirai Asahina is now a university student... In fact, I haven't had much experience playing her in that stage of life. I want to properly face what Mirai values, what has changed, and what hasn't in "MIRAI DAYS"!

Thanks to producer Naito and all the staff, I was overwhelmed with a special miracle, magical Felice surprise. I was very happy to share that moment with everyone and felt immense gratitude to everyone who prepared it.

About the Pretty Cure Series and Sequel

Witchy Pretty Cure! originally aired from February 2016 to January 2017 as the 13th installment of the Pretty Cure series, telling a magical story bridging two worlds, the Magic World and the Human World. This sequel project, following Power of Hope Otona Precure '23, is part of the Pretty Cure series’ latest attempt to reach fans who have grown up with the series. Witchy Pretty Cure!!
