15 Artists Rally for Manga Girl Meets Rock! with Special Support Posters

In celebration of Volume 4’s release of Girl Meets Rock! (original title: Futsuu no K-On Bu) by Kuwahari and Tetsuo Deuchi, a special set of support posters featuring logos from 15 artists has been unveiled. These posters will be displayed in major bookstores across Japan and in Osaka’s Amerikamura area.

What Is Girl Meets Rock! About?

The manga follows Chihiro Hatono, a high school freshman with a love for classic Japanese rock, who joins her school’s music club with big dreams. Through band activities, she learns to balance the challenges of being both a vocalist-guitarist and a teenager. Known for its relatable take on music club life, Girl Meets Rock! mixes comedy with the struggles and impulses of youth, set to real Japanese rock songs. The manga’s realistic scenes have gained popularity on social media, amassing over 36 million views within just 10 months since its launch.
