A Tale of Life, Death, and Second Chances
RINGING FATE is an original anime produced by bilibili, originally streamed in China. The story is set in a liminal space known as “Kuu” (Void), where souls with lingering regrets from the real world are transported upon death.
In this world, combat revolves around piloting mechanical suits in battles called "Fate’s Rings." The victor is granted a chance at resurrection, but defeat comes at a steep cost—losing memories, and with repeated losses, disappearing entirely, meeting a true death.
The narrative follows Kaname, a young girl who succumbs to an incurable illness in the real world. Awakening in "Kuu," she has no recollection of her past but is driven by an instinctive desire to return to life. Along the way, she meets Saburo, a formidable and enigmatic helmet with its own ambitions. Although they share a common goal, their alliance is anything but harmonious, and their journey unfolds with gripping twists and intense battles.
