The Summer Hikaru Died Episode 6 Story and Preview Images Released: Asako Finally Asks, “Who Are You?”

The story and preview images for Episode 6 of the TV anime The Summer Hikaru Died (JP: 光が死んだ夏, Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu) have been released. The episode will air in Japan on Sunday, August 10 at 0:55 AM (JST), and will be available on streaming platforms worldwide shortly thereafter.

With the choir competition approaching, Yoshiki Tsujinaka joins Yuta Maki, Asako Yamagishi, and Yuki Tadokoro for a sleepover at Hikaru Indo’s house, hoping to unwind from practice. Watching Hikaru’s childlike joy at the fireworks warms everyone's hearts, and the group enjoys a peaceful, happy time.

But Asako, who had secretly been waiting for a chance to speak with Hikaru alone, finally seizes the moment and speaks up.
