In the fifth episode, after finishing Mitsuri's training, Tanjiro heads to Iguro's training next. Upon arriving at the training ground, he is greeted by an enraged Iguro, waiting for him. The story unfolds as Tanjiro faces the terrifying training designed to correct his swordsmanship. The released scene cuts depict Mitsuri guiding flexibility training, Iguro putting Tanjiro through rigorous exercises, and the fierce expression of Sanemi.

'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Hashira Training Arc' covers episodes from volumes 15-16 of the original manga. It follows Tanjiro and his friends as they undergo training from the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become even stronger.

'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' is based on the manga of the same name serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' from February 2016 to May 2020, which has sold over 150 million copies. The story is set in the Taisho era, in a world inhabited by man-eating demons. It follows the journey of a boy, Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to turn his demonized sister, Nezuko, back into a human.

The first season of the anime aired from April to September 2019, sparking immense popularity and becoming a social phenomenon. The anime continued directly into the movie 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train,' which premiered in October 2020 and grossed over 40 billion yen domestically, becoming a massive hit. The second season, 'Entertainment District Arc,' aired from December 2021, followed by the third season, 'Swordsmith Village Arc,' which aired from April 2023.
