Romelia War Chronicle Confirms Two-Cour Anime in 2026 with New Cast Announcements

Romelia War Chronicle is set to air as a two-cour TV anime in 2026, with additional cast members and a second teaser visual now revealed.

New cast announcements include Yuya Hirose as Henri, the former fiancé of Romelia; Sayaka Senbongi as Elisabeth, a saint who once traveled alongside Romelia; Mariya Ise as Ekaterina, a witch who also journeyed with her; and Asaka as the female swordsman Ryoki.

The newly released teaser visual depicts Romelia facing forward, while Henri, Elisabeth, Ekaterina, and Ryoki stand behind her, looking down as an ominous atmosphere surrounds them.

The series is based on the novel Romelia War Chronicle: The Count’s Daughter Rallies an Army in the Wake of Mankind’s Victory, originally published on the user-generated novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The story follows Romelia, who is suddenly abandoned by her prince immediately after the Demon King’s defeat, as she sets out to build a new world in a postwar setting. The series, including both the original novels and manga adaptation, has surpassed 550,000 copies in circulation.
