Kazuhiro Takamura’s Original TV Anime Vertex Force Set for October Premiere, Teaser PV and Character Details Revealed

Kazuhiro Takamura, known for Strike Witches and Vividred Operation, will release his completely original TV anime series Vertex Force this October. Alongside the announcement, the production team unveiled the teaser promotional video, the second teaser visual, the first wave of character information, and the main staff lineup.

Star Staff Team Assembles for a New SF Battle Action Anime

The project brings together an impressive creative staff led by director Kazuhiro Takamura. Goro Kuji, known for Peleliu: Guernica of Paradise, serves as assistant director. Mechanical designs are handled by Kanetake Ebikawa, recognized for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam 00, while ENIA designs are created by JNTHED, who previously worked on Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY.

Animation production is being handled by SMDE. With a high profile staff lineup, the anime is expected to deliver large scale science fiction battle action with visually powerful animation.

Teaser PV Hints at the Beginning of a Mysterious Story

The teaser PV features the heroine Haruka Todo battling an unidentified enemy using the power of advanced machinery. In the final scene, a boy reaches toward a beam of light deep within a vast ocean, alongside a mysterious mech known as ENIA. The sequence strongly suggests the beginning of a dramatic story.

The second teaser visual includes the tagline, “The ‘correct answer’ will destroy the world.” The illustration depicts the back of the mysterious boy reaching out his hand, a mech positioned against Earth in the background, and an enigmatic beautiful woman. The visual raises the question of whether the future the boy seeks will bring hope or despair.

First Character Introduction: Haruka Todo

The first character revealed is Haruka Todo. She is a 16 year old high school girl living in Okinawa. Haruka is portrayed as cheerful and innocent, with a talent for physical activity and movement.
