adidas and Pokémon Launch Special Collection Featuring Sneakers, Shirts and Jackets

adidas Japan’s street sportswear brand adidas Originals has announced “ADIDAS | POKÉMON,” a global collaboration collection created with Pokémon.

Pokémon has continued to capture the hearts of fans across generations for 30 years, while adidas Originals has continued to evolve as a brand spanning both sports and culture. The collection brings together two brands with worldwide followings for a special lineup filled with playful details.

Through footwear and apparel incorporating the distinctive characteristics of Pokémon, the collection combines the heritage of adidas Originals with the appeal of Pokémon.

Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo and More Inspire the Footwear

The collection features designs based on popular adidas Originals silhouettes including SUPERSTAR II, SAMBA, MEGARIDE and ADISTAR XLG 2.0.

The designs take inspiration from Pokémon including Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Gengar.

Colors and details representing each Pokémon are incorporated throughout the designs, combining adidas sporting heritage with the distinctive appeal of Pokémon.

Each pair of footwear also comes with a special Pokémon themed shoe box and wrapping paper, allowing fans to enjoy the world of the collection down to its smallest details.

Game Shirts, Jackets and Kids Items Join the Lineup

The collection also includes apparel such as game shirts and jackets.

In addition to Japan designed T shirts, the lineup features items for children, making the collection accessible to Pokémon fans across a wide range of generations.
The collection is set to go on sale from September 15, 2026, at adidas directly operated stores, the official adidas website and selected retailers.
