Detective Precure! and Ojamajo Doremi Team Up for Special Episode

Detective Precure! will team up with Ojamajo Doremi for a one-episode collaboration in Episode 39, airing October 25. Anna and the other members of the Cure-at Detective Agency will dress as characters from Ojamajo Doremi, while a special collaboration illustration by Ojamajo Doremi character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi has also been revealed.

Anna and the Others Dress Up for Halloween

Episode 39 follows Anna and her friends as they prepare costumes and props for the shopping district's first Halloween event.

While helping with the festivities, they meet a young girl named Hinano who has become separated from her mother. After deciding to walk her home, Agesenu appears disguised as a witch and steals Hinano's precious broom containing a Makoto Jewel.

When Agesenu changes disguises while escaping, Anna and the others realize they also need new costumes to continue the pursuit without being recognized, leading to their Ojamajo Doremi-inspired looks.

Yoshihiko Umakoshi Draws Special Collaboration Visual

To celebrate the crossover, Ojamajo Doremi character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi created a special illustration featuring Cure Answer and Doremi.

Detective Precure! producer Soya Aramaki explained that the collaboration was built around the series' 1999 setting, when Ojamajo Doremi was airing on television. Because Doremi appears as an anime character within that setting rather than as herself in the story, the episode uses that premise for a special crossover presentation.
