Star Detective Precure! x Detective Conan Special PV Released: Conan Puts Anna to Sleep With His Tranquilizer Watch

To celebrate the upcoming special collaboration episodes between the hit anime Star Detective Precure! (ABC TV and TV Asahi networks, Sundays at 8:30 AM) and Detective Conan (Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks, Saturdays at 6:00 PM), a special promotional video has been released.

The PV features footage from the crossover episodes, including a scene where Edogawa Conan uses his signature wristwatch tranquilizer gun on Anna Akechi from Star Detective Precure!, leading to the debut of “Sleeping Anna.”

The collaboration project will feature Edogawa Conan appearing in Star Detective Precure! on May 31, while Cure Answer will appear in Detective Conan on June 6.

In Star Detective Precure! Episode 18, titled “The Great Detective Assemble,” Anna and her friends help prepare an exhibition by glass artist Misako Shindo at Hosho Museum while solving a mystery alongside Edogawa Conan.

The exhibition’s featured piece is a glass slipper titled “The Forgotten Item at 12 O’Clock.” However, chaos erupts when a delivery box suddenly spills out a large number of glass slippers. The scattered slippers turn out to be fake resin copies, and amid the confusion, the real “The Forgotten Item at 12 O’Clock” disappears.

Believing the Phantom Thieves to be responsible, Anna and Mikuru search outside the museum for clues. There, they encounter Edogawa Conan, Ran Mouri, and Kogoro Mouri, who are visiting Makotomirai City. The episode depicts Star Detective Precure and Conan teaming up to solve the mystery and confront the Phantom Thieves.

The June 6 Detective Conan special episode, “A Hanamaru Truth Answer,” follows the Detective Boys as they “Curett-solve” a serial jewelry robbery case. After learning about the string of robberies in Beika Town, Ayumi connects the incidents to the Precure anime she has been watching and excitedly believes that Precure will appear if thieves show up.

The June 6 special episode of Detective Conan, titled “A Hanamaru Truth Answer,” follows the Detective Boys as they “Curett-solve” a serial jewelry robbery case. After Ayumi learns about a string of jewelry robberies in Beika Town, she connects the case to the story of the Precure anime she is currently obsessed with and becomes excited, thinking that Precure might appear if a band of thieves shows up.

At Kaneko Jewelry Store, rumored to be the next target, Conan and the Detective Boys stand guard. After following a suspicious customer, they discover the date of the planned crime and the thieves’ hideout, seemingly allowing the police to round up the gang. However, Ayumi notices that something feels off.

The newly released special PV showcases footage from both crossover episodes, bringing together characters from the two franchises in a historic collaboration.

In one memorable Detective Conan crossover scene, Conan asks Anna and the others, “What are you ladies doing?” He is also shown using his iconic wristwatch tranquilizer gun on Anna, creating the unforgettable “Sleeping Anna” moment.
