"Petals of Reincarnation," written by Mikihisa Konishi, began serialization in Mag Garden's "Monthly Comic Blade" in 2014 and is currently serialized in "Monthly Comic Garden" and "MAGCOMI." The story revolves around the "Branches of Reincarnation," which allows individuals to excavate talents from their past lives by cutting their own flesh. These talents include not only those of great figures but also the exceptional abilities of criminals. The narrative follows high school student Toya Senji, who, driven by his lack of innate talent and a strong hunger for it, confronts his past and future using the abilities he gains. The manga is popular as a supernatural battle series that leverages past-life abilities.

The special PV showcases the unique "Reincarnators," highlighting the various abilities each character wields.
Comment from Mikihisa Konishi:
"I had no expectation or awareness of an anime adaptation, so when I heard the news, it hit me like a bean bullet, and I've been living with the shock ever since.
First and foremost, I want to thank all the readers who have supported this work so far! And I extend my gratitude to everyone who has put their efforts into making the anime adaptation possible, as well as those who will be involved in the future!
Though my role in the adaptation is limited to providing settings and supplementary materials not included in the manga and answering questions, I trust the production staff completely. I will focus on the ongoing serialization and eagerly await the anime adaptation."
