[MHA] "My Hero Academia" Episode 153 Summary - Will it be "Kurogiri" or "Shirakumo" that Awakens? The Battle Takes a Sudden Turn
The preview images and a 30-second, unaired TV teaser for Episode 15 (overall Episode 153) titled "Butterfly Effect" of the 7th season of the TV anime My Hero Academia (airing every Saturday at 5:30 PM) have been released.
In the 14th episode of Season 7, titled "Together with Shoji-kun," which aired last week, the story depicted the ongoing battle between heroes and villains. The episode focused on the confrontation between a crowd of individuals with "Mutant" Quirks who explode with anger and resentment due to their persecuted pasts, and Mezo Shoji from Class 1-A of U.A. High School, who also possesses a Mutant Quirk.
Shoji, who has also been persecuted since childhood, appeals to the crowd to look toward the future rather than letting anger and revenge control them. Fans and viewers were deeply moved, with comments like "Shoji is such a hero" and "Despite being hurt himself."
In the upcoming Episode 15 (overall Episode 153) titled "Butterfly Effect," set to air on August 31, the key focus is on Kurogiri, a villain with the "Warp" Quirk, who is currently held at Central Hospital. Spinner, who calls out Kurogiri's name for the sake of Shigaraki, and Present Mic, who cries out the name of Kurogiri’s original self, Oboro Shirakumo, both hope to awaken him. But who will emerge—Kurogiri or Shirakumo? The outcome of this will lead to a sudden shift in the battle. Meanwhile, Toga Himiko, who is fighting Ochako and the others, is on the verge of using her trump card—Twice’s blood.
