Fuuto PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull – Main Footage of Shotaro and Sokichi’s First Meeting Released!
The special visual, main footage, and preview scene cuts for the theatrical edition of Fuuto PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull (to be released on November 8) have been revealed.
This film is based on the series anime Fuuto PI, which aired in August 2022. It tells the Begins Night episode that depicts how the protagonist Shotaro Hidari (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya) and his partner Philip (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) came to fight as Kamen Rider W. The key character, Shotaro’s mentor, Sokichi Narumi, will be voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda.
A special visual, newly drawn by Fuuto PI manga artist Masaki Sato, has also been unveiled. The image features a young Shotaro Hidari and his admired mentor, Sokichi Narumi, standing in front of Kamen Rider Skull. Shotaro’s gaze filled with admiration toward Sokichi and his iconic gesture of adjusting his hat are captured, evoking the emotionally rich world of Fuuto PI: Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull.
Along with the visual release, part of the main footage has been shared, allowing fans to see the scene where Shotaro first meets Sokichi.
Comment from Masaki Sato
"The teaser visual for this film, featuring Skull and Saeko standing in red light, had a very serious and unsettling atmosphere. So, for this illustration, I aimed to capture another aspect of the film—a warm memory from Shotaro’s childhood with his mentor. I chose a blue color palette to evoke a refreshing feeling. I hope the nostalgic and beloved relationship between the two comes through! Their interactions are also depicted in the movie, so please experience it in theaters!"
