Global Release of First Jujutsu Kaisen Smartphone Game, Phantom Parade, Set for November 7, 2024
On October 17, 2024, Toho Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda, Tokyo; President: Hirotaka Matsuoka) announced the global release of Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, the first smartphone game based on the hit TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen. The game, planned and produced by Toho Games and developed in partnership with Sumzap Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO: Yusuke Hidaka), will launch globally on November 7, 2024.
The global version of Phantom Parade will be available in nine languages, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, English, French, Thai, Neutral Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German. The game will be distributed worldwide (excluding mainland China) by Bilibili Games. With over 5 million pre-registrations, the game has garnered significant anticipation from fans both in Japan and globally.
About Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade
Based on the hit manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Gege Akutami, Phantom Parade marks the first mobile game adaptation of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Launched in Japan on November 21, 2023, the game has already surpassed 6 million downloads as of August 15, 2024. It allows players to relive the story of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and enjoy an original story set in Fukuoka. The game is a command battle RPG, and it received the "Best IP Game" award at the Sensor Tower APAC Awards 2023.

TV Anime Jujutsu Kaisen Overview
Jujutsu Kaisen, based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami, has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2018. The first season of the anime aired in October 2020, followed by the release of the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in December 2021. After the second season, which began airing in July 2023, the continuation of the "Culling Game" arc has been confirmed.
