At the 2024 New York Comic Con, the Dragon Ball DAIMA event delighted 3,000 fans as exclusive illustrations by series creator Akira Toriyama were unveiled. The artwork introduced new characters, including Glorio, as well as designs for a troll and a small aircraft featured in the anime, generating excitement and discussion among attendees.

The highlight of the event was a special video message from Masako Nozawa, the iconic voice of Son Goku, who expressed her enthusiasm for the premiere of Dragon Ball DAIMA’s first episode. Reflecting on the year since the show's announcement at the previous NYCC, Nozawa encouraged fans to enjoy the screening, signing off with her classic line, "Make sure to watch it!"
