The 27th episode of the new TV anime *Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story*'s second season, titled "The Abandoned Village," will air on October 17 as part of Fuji TV's late-night anime programming block "Noitamina" and other channels.

In the forest, Kenshin encounters a young girl named Misao Makimachi, who has traveled from Kyoto in search of Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu. Kenshin is surprised upon hearing Aoshi's name. Seeing his reaction, Misao questions him about Aoshi's whereabouts, but Kenshin stubbornly keeps his lips sealed. However, moved by Misao's strong feelings toward Aoshi, Kenshin eventually decides to travel with her to Kyoto.
