On November 2 at 4:50 PM, NHK will broadcast Ichiro Yamaguchi Explores Chii, a special program featuring Sakanaction’s frontman Ichiro Yamaguchi in conversation with Uoto, creator of Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. This award-winning manga tells the powerful story of characters risking their lives to prove heliocentrism. The program will feature Yamaguchi as he discusses with Uoto the inspirations behind Orb, the universe’s allure, and their perspectives on manga and anime music.

As part of the program, Yamaguchi also delves into astronomical science, visiting the National Astronomical Observatory and the Super-Kamiokande facility to explore the mysteries of the universe. He will also perform the anime’s theme song, “Kaiju.”
