Step into Edo with The Apothecary Diaries x Kanda Shrine Special Exhibit — Exclusive Goods and Art Display from Nov 2!
The Kanda Shrine x The Apothecary Diaries special exhibit will take place at Kanda Shrine Museum in Tokyo from November 2 (Saturday) to November 24 (Sunday). Celebrating both Edo culture and the popular series The Apothecary Diaries, this exhibit offers a unique blend of historical and artistic displays, including special collaboration visuals by artist Shino Touko, covers, and high-resolution digital prints of illustrations from the original light novel. Visitors will also see ukiyo-e and historical artifacts from Kanda Shrine’s collection, creating a bridge between the series’ themes and Edo-period history.
Kanda Shrine and The Apothecary Diaries team up for a special exhibit featuring Maomao and Jinshi.
The collaboration artwork features characters Maomao dressed as a shrine maiden and Jinshi in traditional Japanese attire, set against the stunning backdrop of Kanda Shrine. The exhibit also highlights Kanda Shrine’s dedication to medicine, paying tribute to the deity Sukuna Hikona, known as the god of medicine and healing.
Special Goods and Exclusive Merchandise
Along with the exhibits, a range of Apothecary Diaries merchandise featuring exclusive art will be available for purchase. The collection includes original collaboration items as well as popular goods from previous Apothecary Diaries exhibits. As a special bonus, visitors who make purchases at the merchandise area will receive a free bromide featuring illustrations from the original novel.
