The first volume of the manga Madan no Ichi (original story by Osamu Nishi, artwork by Shiro Usazaki) will be released on January 4.

Set in a world where magic exists as living beings, this magical hunting fantasy, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, tells the story of "witches," hunters who master magic. Amid a fierce battle between the most powerful witch and the terrifying king's magic in a remote mountain region, a seemingly out-of-place boy named Ichi unexpectedly intervenes. As a hunter living in the mountains with no connection to witches or magic, his actions turn the world's conventions upside down.

The original story is penned by Osamu Nishi, known for Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, with artwork by Shiro Usazaki. The obi (book band) on Volume 1 features a glowing endorsement by Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia.
