The JOJOLands Vol. 9 Debuts at No. 1 on Oricon Manga Chart

The JOJOLands Vol. 9 debuts at No. 1 on this week's Oricon manga chart with an estimated 54,642 physical copies sold in Japan. Hirohiko Araki's volume leads Onna no Sono no Hoshi Vol. 5, while In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Vol. 11 climbs six places to No. 3. Five first-time chart entries make the Top 10, whose combined weekly sales total 269,509 copies.

The JOJOLands leads five new entries

The JOJOLands Vol. 9 opens with 54,642 copies, accounting for 20.3% of the Top 10 total. It is joined by four other first-time chart entries: The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Vol. 28 at No. 5, Solo Leveling: Side Stories Vol. 1 at No. 6, Silver Mountain Vol. 5 at No. 9, and The Journey of a Dark Elf with Fading Powers Vol. 2 at No. 10. Four volumes remain from last week's Top 10, while Chiikawa Vol. 8 ranks eighth after being absent from that list.

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk gains in both sales and rank

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk Vol. 11 rises from No. 9 to No. 3 as weekly sales increase from 33,785 to 36,210 copies. That is a gain of 2,425 copies, or 7.2%, bringing the volume's cumulative sales to 69,995. It records both the largest rank gain and the only sales increase among the four volumes appearing in both weeks' Top 10. The move into the Top 3 therefore comes with a measurable increase in sales for the same volume.

Last week's leader passes 150,000 cumulative copies

Onna no Sono no Hoshi Vol. 5 moves from first to second with 39,144 weekly sales, down 66.6% from its 117,276-copy debut. Its cumulative total reaches 156,420 copies. The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity Vol. 24 slips from third to fourth, while Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Vol. 50 falls from second to seventh. Together, this week's Top 10 sell 269,509 copies, down 47.2% from last week's 510,453. These totals cover each week's ten ranked volumes and do not measure the entire manga market.
