The TV anime Rock wa Lady no Tashinami deshite (Rock is a Lady's Modesty) is set to premiere in April 2025. Alongside the release of its PV, cast announcements revealed Akira Sekine as Ririsa Suzunomiya and Miyuri Shimabukuro as Otowa Kurogane.

Introduction

The story follows Ririsa Suzunomiya, a student at the prestigious Sakurashin Girls’ Academy, a school exclusively for refined young ladies. Aiming for the highest honor of Noble Maiden, she is admired by her peers as a model of grace and elegance. However, Ririsa is secretly a former “commoner” who joined the Suzunomiya family after her mother’s remarriage. Suppressing her true self to meet her mother’s expectations, she abandoned her love for rock and guitar. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets the academy’s admired Otowa Kurogane and catches her playing the drums.
