The key visual, first PV, and cast information for the TV anime "Honey Lemon Soda" (scheduled to air in January 2025) have been released. Kanna Ichinose will voice Uka Ishimori, and Shogo Yano will voice Kai Miura.

The key visual captures a refreshing snapshot of youth, featuring Uka and Kai in front of the Hachimitsu High School grounds and main building, along with the six main characters. This is the first reveal of visuals for Kai's understanding friend, Tomoya Takamine, Kai's ex-girlfriend, Serina Kanno, Uka's first friend, Ayumi Endo, and Kai's mood-maker friend, Satoru Seto. The first PV begins with the scene where Uka and Kai meet, portraying the touching and exciting moments as Uka, encouraged by Kai's words of wisdom, faces her own feelings.

The anime is based on the manga of the same name serialized in "Ribon" (Shueisha), a coming-of-age love story that follows Uka Ishimori, who enrolls in a high school with a free-spirited atmosphere to change herself. She meets Kai Miura, a popular classmate with lemon-colored hair, and gradually grows. The manga is a popular work with a cumulative circulation of over 12 million copies. It was made into a live-action film in 2021 starring Raul (Snow Man) and Ai Yoshikawa, and has also been adapted into a reading drama by popular voice actors.
