[MHA] Anime My Hero Academia Final Episode – Toga’s Surprising Action Toward Uraraka Revealed, Series Finale Recap
The synopsis and scene cuts for Episode 21 (overall Episode 159) of the 7th season of My Hero Academia, titled "A Girl's Ego," have been released. The episode will air on Saturday at 5:30 PM.
In the previously aired Episode 20 of Season 7, "A Girl’s Ego," a dramatic confrontation unfolded between the hero Ochako Uraraka and the villain Himiko Toga, both central to the storyline. Toga, who seeks revenge on the heroes after the loss of her beloved comrades and feels rejected by society for her own sense of normalcy, faces Uraraka, who tries to connect with Toga, even while facing her blade, speaking to her with determination.
Uraraka’s quirk evolves as she yells, “I don’t want to pretend I never saw your smile!” This marks a pivotal moment as her earnest attempt to reach out finally touches Toga’s heart.
On October 12, the series finale, titled "A Quirkless Battle," will air. Toga returns a smile to Uraraka, who tried to connect with her. However, with Uraraka’s body growing colder from the knife wound, what action will Toga take? Meanwhile, All Might stands up against All For One with the power developed by his "friend" as the battle reaches its climax.
To further celebrate the finale, a special program will be streamed on YouTube featuring Daiki Yamashita and Kenta Miyake, the voices of Deku and All Might, respectively. The My Hero Academia Season 7 Final Episode PLUS ULTRA Special will feature real-time audio commentary to enjoy alongside the broadcast, followed by a special talk show after the episode airs.
The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014 and concluded on August 5, 2024. The first season of the TV anime adaptation premiered in April 2016, followed by several theatrical releases, and Season 7 is currently airing.
