The synopsis, scene previews, and teaser for Episode 3 of the brand-new Ranma ½ TV anime have been revealed.

Ranma 1/2 is a martial arts romantic comedy centered around high schooler Ranma Saotome, who transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his fiancée Akane Tendo. The original TV anime aired from 1989 to 1992, followed by several movies and OVA adaptations. In 2011, the series was adapted into a live-action drama starring Yui Aragaki as Akane.

Episode 3: “Because I Have Someone I Like”

In this episode, Tatewaki Kuno, who has just discovered that Ranma and Akane are engaged by their parents, challenges Ranma to a duel. Although Ranma wins the fight, he becomes distracted by Akane and ends up injured. He is then treated by Dr. Tofu, the local bone-setter. During the episode, Ranma realizes that Akane has feelings for Dr. Tofu, but there's a twist—Dr. Tofu has someone else he admires.
