■Mitsuhide Ryumon’s Profile
The Frontier General of Yamato, widely respected for his nobility and mastery of both literary and military arts. He is distinguished by an eyepatch over his left eye, having lost his sight at age 17 when he and a few companions took down over 100 bandits. This feat led to his appointment as the Governor of Ikuno, and by age 24, his reputation earned him the title of Frontier General under the late Emperor Fuji II.

Mitsuhide Ryumon
Ryumon has led numerous campaigns to victory, including a notable battle early in the story where he personally slew the enemy commander-in-chief in a surprise raid against an overwhelming force of 20,000 soldiers. The recruitment exam held at his residence in Tsutenkaku is famously known as "Toryumon" (The Gate to the Dragon).
In the year 60 of the Yamato Era, he faced the Seii invasion in Fukui under dire conditions—lacking reinforcements and senior officers, suffering from an arrow wound, and with his strategist, Kaku, falling ill. Despite these hurdles, he successfully crushed the Seii army using a "luring ambush" tactic (tsuri-nobuse) entrusted to Aoteru Misumi. However, following the peace negotiations, he was framed by Denki Taira, stripped of his rank, and unjustly imprisoned.
