Born in Noto Province, Oga is the third child of Byakko Wajima, the Governor-General of the Westward Expedition. She possesses a mild-mannered personality and an exceptional ability to read people's hearts. Being more studious than her two older brothers, she earned deep trust from her father and subordinates, becoming a highly anticipated successor.

Following her father's death in battle and the suspicious death of her elder brother, Oga inherited the family headship at the young age of 14. On the recommendation of her father's aide, Yayakichi Hei, she used her father's legacy to secure a position as the Provisions Supervisor for the Ginzan Guard. While some initially looked down on her for "purchasing" her status, she earned widespread respect after successfully suppressing the "Kura Motorcycle Gang" that had been terrorizing the region. This achievement led the Governor of Uzen to appoint her as the Captain of the Ginzan Guard.
