The latest episode of the completely new Ranma 1/2 anime has unveiled its plot synopsis, preview images, and teaser video for Episode 6, titled “Kodachi the Black Rose.”

Ranma 1/2 is a martial arts romantic comedy centered around high schooler Ranma Saotome, who transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his fiancée Akane Tendo. The original TV anime aired from 1989 to 1992, followed by several movies and OVA adaptations. In 2011, the series was adapted into a live-action drama starring Yui Aragaki as Akane.

EP6 “Kodachi the Black Rose” Story

As the Furinkan High representative prepares for the upcoming Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics match, they are attacked in the dark, leading Akane to step in as a substitute. One night, Kodachi Kuno, the opponent in the upcoming match, sneaks up on Akane. Learning that Kodachi is the attacker and that she has feelings for Ranma, Akane becomes more determined in her training. However, she gets injured during practice, and Ranma steps in to join the fight!
